My beautiful son, Brandon went to heaven on April 15, 2013. He was a brave young man with so much courage and he fought until the very end. His heart had failed after a long battle with a rare form of rejection. During his final hours he was very alert and wanted to make SURE that we carried on with this website. Signing up donors to save other peoples lives was Brandon's most important goal in life! We will miss him everyday, but his legacy lives on as we continue to encourage people to become donors to save lives...
BRANDON'S MESSAGE: "I have designed this site to share my story in hopes of bringing change. My goal is to sign up over 1 million organ donors throughout the USA and GROWING."
Everyday hundreds of children and adults die waiting for an organ transplant. I am one of the lucky ones that received a heart transplant. Without the gift of life, I would have died as a baby.
The good news is that there is something each one of us can do to help. Education is the key, so this site will answer questions about organ donation and share facts about ways that organ donation has helped millions of people like me. You can make a difference by filling out the organ donation form and letting our loved ones know your wishes to become an organ donor. By doing this, you become an angel by giving the "gift of life".
With your help and inspiration being passed on, I know that together we can make a major world difference. Join me as I help spread the word on organ donation, the latest new research and development, and ways to keep your body healthy...
Thank you for supporting this site and, most importantly, for choosing to be a transplant organ donor.
